- Subscription product status, purchase, and restore information provided through Apple's App Store infrastructure
- Limited device, diagnostic, crash, or performance information used to improve app stability and reliability
We do not require account registration inside the App and do not ask you to create a standalone Denta account.
3. How We Collect Data
- Directly from you when you capture or upload oral photos/images, enter care information, or configure reminders
- When you actively start an AI scan analysis inside the App
- From the App Store when you purchase, restore, or manage a subscription
- From device and SDK diagnostics that support app stability, security, and performance
4. How We Use Data
We use collected or processed information to:
- Generate AI-assisted oral scan analysis and visual reports
- Provide care suggestions, follow-up guidance, and rescan recommendations
- Support care plan, reminder, and progress features inside the App
- Enable subscription purchases, restore purchases, and premium feature access
- Maintain, secure, and improve app functionality, stability, and reliability
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for their own advertising purposes.
However, when you choose to run AI scan analysis and provide consent, oral photos/images may be transmitted to the following third-party provider:
- Google Gemini (Google LLC) for AI image analysis and generation of scan results, visual findings, care suggestions, and rescan guidance
If you do not consent, the App does not send your oral photos/images to the third-party AI service for analysis.
We require service providers that receive shared data to provide the same or an equal level of protection for that data under their applicable privacy and security obligations.
6. User Consent
Before the first AI scan analysis begins, the App presents a clear consent screen describing:
- what data will be sent,
- which third-party AI service will receive it, and
- the purpose of that transmission.
Only after you affirmatively agree will oral photos/images be sent for AI analysis. If you decline, the scan does not proceed to third-party AI processing.
7. Data Storage and Retention
Some app data, such as care preferences, reminders, and certain report content, may be stored locally on your device to provide app functionality.
AI analysis inputs and outputs may also be processed by third-party services as described above when you request an AI scan and provide consent.
Subscription and billing records are handled through Apple's App Store systems. We do not store your full payment card information.
8. Permissions
- Camera: used to capture oral photos/images for scan analysis
- Photos: used if you choose to import oral images from your photo library
- Notifications: used if you enable reminders or follow-up prompts
You can manage permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Medical and Professional Disclaimer
The App provides AI-assisted screening and informational guidance only. It does not replace professional medical or dental diagnosis, treatment, or advice.
